Kingswood Drive
Program Objective
Kingswood Drive is a shared house located at Chirnside Park. UnitingCare Harrison matches suitable housemates and assists residents on the road to independence. Residents can be supported in the morning, afternoon or evenings.
UnitingCare Harrison assists residents at Kingswood Drive to take charge of their own lives by providing:
- Goal orientated personal support plans;
- Support tailored to individuals;
- Pathway to independent living;
- Person centred support;
- Self advocating environment.
Program Philosophy
Clients will have the opportunity to develop program goals within a person centered approach where support focuses on the aspirations and wishes of the individual.
Criteria
- 18 years and over
- Willingness to live independently
- Intellectual disability

Staff support as per individual support plan agreements.

- ISP clients - as per ISP agreement

Activities / Services of the Program
To develop clients' independent living skills and ability to manage tasks (budgeting, cooking, cleaning, shopping, menu planning).while living in a shared house environment.
