UnitingCare Harrison assists people to take charge of their own lives. We have been influential in the Eastern Metropolitan Region for nearly fifty years. In this current economic climate and rental market, more people than ever are coming to us. Many of these people are already homeless and in crisis when they walk through our doors.

Your support will help us to continue providing toiletry kits, emergency food, accommodation and bedding to people in crisis. Below are examples of how we will use your donation to assist those in need:

• $15 buys essential toiletries such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, deoderant, shampoo and soap for those who cannot afford them.
• $30 buys a food voucher for a family in need.
• $70 buys an emergency swag to protect someone from the elements.
• $100 buys a night in emergency hotel accommodation for a homeless family.

You Can Help!

Are you and your colleagues, students, church or club members interested in providing practical support to those doing it tough in your community?

You can help by:

• fundraising to support our houses for young people in crisis;\
