Youth Homelessness
Program Objective
The Youth Homelessness Program aims to support young people aged between 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Young people are assessed for transitional accommodation or outreach support, which aims to provide a safe, secure and supported environment in order to address those issues that have impacted upon their homelessness. Young people are encouraged and supported to work towards identified goals which may include education, training, employment or community linkages. This is achieved through case planning and intensive case management where each client is treated with respect and awarded the opportunity through holistic support and intervention.
